September Professional Forum

We were privileged to have Mike Seely from Horrocks Engineers come to be our speaker at our September Professional Forum, held on September 28.┬áMichael has 15 years of experience working on civil engineering projects emphasizing in traffic operations, planning, and engineering design. He presented on a project completed recently for Kenecott Copper mine, where he was involved in creating a traffic model integrating large-haul trucks. Mike discussed the challenges associated with the creation of this model, including the fact that traditional traffic modeling software doesn’t have capabilities to model the trucks used in mining operations.
