ITE Intermountain District Meeting in Jackson Hole, WY:
Mark your calendars for May 14-16 for the ITE Intermountain District meeting in Jackson Hole, WY. This is always a great event and we hope to see many of you there. Registration can be done here:https://www.regonline.com/builder/site/Default.aspx?EventID=1638227
We are accepting nominations for our next ITE Chapter Officer. This year it will be a public sector employee. Please nominate yourself or a colleague by contacting one of the officers by April 17 (Richard Hibbard, Kordel Braley, Hal Johnson, or Lori Labrum). Being an officer is a great opportunity to help influence the future direction for the chapter.
If you do not want to have the 4 year commitment of being an officer please consider getting involved with one of your committees. We are developing three committees:
Outreach (Lori): The Outreach Committee will focus on improving our external communication. We are especially looking for someone that could help us update the website and social media.
Student Involvement (Kordel): The Student Involvement Committee will focus on working with the student chapters and developing new members.
Annual Conference Planning (Hal): As the title says, this group will focus on developing the annual conference.
Please get involved.
Student Paper Competition:
Our Chapter is pleased to once again hold a student paper competition. Details pending. The deadline is Monday, April 6th at 5:00 p.m. Finalists will present at the April meeting. Cash prizes will be awarded. $300 first place, $150 second and third place.
